Moving house and have just dragged this winch out from under the bench again. Thinking of unloading it on here or ebay along with a mile of other gear collected.
Does anyone run a winch like this??

Re: Engine conversion for 40/45 series
I used to have a 40 ute that I was going to do an engine swap on. I was led to believe the 2f was a copy of a chev 6, and a V8 chev has the same bell housing bolt pattern and will bolt straight up. Surely someone on here has done it already.

Re: 100 series wheel stud pattern, what else fits?
It is a 5 stud - 105 series solid axle that I want the rims to match. Any answer on the 200 series, are they the same stud pattern? I guess with them all being IFS the offset would be different. May be the future vehicle upgrade may be the troopy shape five door to keep wheels interchangable between ...

100 series wheel stud pattern, what else fits?
I have built an enclosed trailer and fitted 100 series rims. What I need am wondering is if any other wheel stud paterns are the same as I am after some smaller rims and tyres for when it is used for "on road" trips where I don't need the hich ground clearance. Just to make access in and out a bit ...

Re: 1HZ turbo fuel economy?
That is thirsty. The 150km was that through sand dunes or hard going low range?
I push out to 500km on the main. The other day towing it was a stretch to 300km
What other mods have you done with the turbo?

Re: 1HZ turbo fuel economy?
It was tuned by West End when they fitted it.
How do you check the timing, what settings should it be, so I can check it before making the next move.
What are the differences between the 1HZ's. Mechanical or electronic attachments for engine management?

Re: 1HZ turbo fuel economy?
Yes it is the DTS engine pipe into the standard exhaust. Just surprised how much more fuel it uses over the old 80. Same engine and turbo. If I wound the fuel up that much on the 80 you wouldn't see it for black smoke. Wondering where I am best spending money for improvement? Exhaust? Injectors ...

1HZ turbo fuel economy?
Wondering what sort of fuel figures other people are getting out of a turboed 1hz. I'm running a DTS kit with boost compensator on a 105 series manual, standard rubber, no exhaust upgrade, no intercooler. Around town runs around 16l/100km but I towed an enclosed trailer last week (1200kg-1400kg ...
