Hi Guys I've got a DTS kit fitted to my 94 TD42 Coil Cab that has just had a full engine and fuel pump rebuild 7000km ago and am wondering what sort of boost should I be looking to run when the car gets Dyno'ed in a couple of weeks. The only mods above the standard DTS kit which is fitted is a 3 ...

Hi I've just fitted a set of 285 MTZ's to my GQ Coilcab whilst the motor was getting a complete re-build. My question is that how much power do the 285's drain compared to the original 15's. I have driven the vehicle in nearly three months so it hard for me to gauge the loss of power and also with a ...

Well the oil problem in the cooling system has been sorted out. When they have been flushing the system they haven't flushed out the heater box at all. Not Happy. As for the lack of power the timing at both the pump and motor has been checked and I have witnessed this. The fuel system has had the ...

Here's a shot of the Trailblaza mounted in the back of the tray. Its bolted down on a mat of rubber, the interlocking stuff the camping shops sell for tent floors and its secured to the vehicle with thick S/S chain and a pad lock. I run a 40L Trailblaza in the back of my ute permantly and have had no issues to date. I actually got a free promo DVD from Trailblaza webpage and they have these fridges bolted onto army tanks. So I guess they must stand up to the punishment.

Hi I've ordered my black 16x8 ROH Sunraysia's today and am tossing up on what size tyre to fit, 265's or 285's. I know that the 265's have a higher ply rating but am worried if they will look abnormal on the wider rims. I would like to go for 285's but I would like to be legal if possible in QLD but ...

I work in construction as a Pipe Fitter/Boilermaker and am based in Karratha in FI/FO roster. As for the lights I used to run 170 LF's and when I upgraded to the new 240's the car actually didn't run noticeably hotter at all. I'm not too worried about the legality of it all but I don't want to listen to a constant drone on the highway as I travel between WA to QLD at least once a year. A little noise won't be an issue as it will improbably offset the noise from the new tyres going on.

You get a better load rating from running 16" rims over a 15" rim. I would suggest a 16 x 8" steel rim which you should be able to pick up for around $100 a rim. In terms of tyre size, I would look at a 285/75/16 or 305/70/16. Both are the same rolling diameter (approx 32.8" I think) but the 305/70 ...
