For 2012, Any chance you can ammend the rules so that the Navi's don't need to get back in the car? All my navi's injuries have come from slamming his hand in the door trying to jump back in at the end of the stage.

I'm pretty sure the standard exhaust on all TJ's didn't cross under the transmission. Unless you mean right up under the engine behind the sump, other than that they just normally run down along the drivers side chassis rail?

i have spoen to an engineer and the RTA has apparently issued a statment that says no front legs are permited, so basically u cant get a 6pt cage engineerd ... Howdy, Just wondering for those of you out there with a full cage inside your rigs and drive them on the street. Do you get much grief from the boys in blue? Pink slips etc? Apparently only half cage's are "engineerable" and road worthy but i'm hoping it could just go unnoticed? What do you reckon ...

Also I'm guessing there was no luck getting the "original suspension mounts" bit being removed from the class classification?

We came 17th last year and want to better that this year but it's a bit hard if we can't compete

I use velcro straps and cable ties. Does the job just fine.

You'll be surprised how far a TJ on 2" lift and 31's will go. especially for less than $1000. Then save the rest to do it all properly later on if you still want to go bigger.

Maybe people camping in the competitors area get different coloured wrist bands. Anybody else isn't allowed in there. This doesn't stop other competitors or "crew" ripping stuff off but maybe the number of "crew" could be set at a limited number. Not sure if this already happens but.....just a ...

Was a GREAT weekend. Was also my first comp and had only driven the heep 3 times before the comp. Was really happy with how it went and the support from fellow competitors!! It was good to see everyone was there to have fun!!

Just wish we hadn't gotten lost in the MUD!!!
