I looked at doing it after I had the injector pump changed, but ended up getting it dyno tuned only cost around $200 and was a massive improvement.

I like the opening doors on that gq extra cab, very nice.

I just used 75mm box section for the top between the body panels, gave a good strong flat top. but mine is an extra cab

gday mate, cant help you with the swb body on the lwb chassis, but the chop isnt that bad to do. here are some pics of my chop.


cut 250mm out of the length also.

A big thumbs up to all involved in running the event,it was a well run comp, bring on 2010 we will be back for sure.

gday mate, my 2001 gu dx has no air bags , but it is the turbo version. If you are lookin for one try the regional centres they had plenty of second hand ones when I brought mine new in Goulburn and they delivered it to Sydney. cheers Mark
