Re: What to do?

Thanks for all the responses! What's a good suspension set-up to run on these old girls? Also 94lux, what turbos are people putting on these trucks?

Pulled the motor today. The sump was full of thick sludge  that's about as far as I got. Hopefully find the full damage tomorrow!

What to do?

Hi guys,

Are these windows curved or just a straight piece of glass?

I am worried about a straight piece popping out!

Cheers.

SWB Sollid rear window.

I have just bought a 90 Shorty and the rear window seals are rusted to the shithouse!

I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction to get replacements but as a one piece window?

I went into a glass shop today and the dude said that there is a curve and a straight piece of glass ...

Why is that?

With the dellow your transmission mounts to the original mounts, weld in your new engine mounts and away you go. There is no need to modify the fire wall if thats what your worried about,

Hi everyone!

Can anyone point me in the right direction to anyone who can make control arm bush type engine mounts for a LS1 into GQ? I want them to be made without the car going to a shop.

Thanks in advance.

Hey mate,

check all you bushes. Panhard bushes can be a pain. also get a wheel alignment and check you tyre pressures. They may look alright but you might be surprised. Also check front wheel bearing adjustment.

gday mate,

You could go and get a seal and do it yourself but its a pain in the backside. Your better off getting a pro to do it. Take the pump off and take it somewhere. But dont let them rebuild the whole thing cause it will cost you a fair bit.

Hope this helps.
