Recommendations for GU recycled parts
Hi, I've been trying to locate a tail light/turn signal cluster (fitted in LHS bumper) for my GU III, to no avail. I thought it would be a pretty common part, but none of the auto parts recyclers I've contacted have been able to help. I've contacted wreckers in Queensland, Victoria, ACT, etc. Does ...

Help - Hazards not working on GU Patrol
Hi, I just noticed my hazards/flashers are not working. I'm thinking it may have something to do with a towbar I had fitted recently. I have checked all the fuses, which seem to be ok. The indicators work fine. It's just the hazards which aren't working... any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Jonty

Hiya, Just fitting one myself now. I like the idea of the magnetic catch. Have you go any pics of it in place? Cheers Hutch The magnetic catch is still sitting in my garage. I haven't had a chance to install it as yet...been busy on several other projects :) I will hopefully get round to fitting it ...

How many driving lights are legal??
Hi,
Can anyone enlighten me (excuse the pun) as to the adr regulations for driving lights, i.e. how many forward facing lights are allowed? If additional lights are covered for onroad use, are they still illegal?
I have googled for this info, with no luck.
Thanks,
Jonty

Read this http://www.nohsc.gov.au/PDF/Statistics/report_jacks.pdf and you'll never crawl under anything again without 10 stands supporting. I understand the necessity for stands...i never siad that i would not use stands, just that i never had any. I have decided that i will remove the wheels, and ...

Installing coil spacers - Advice Please...
Hi all, I am going to be installing a set of 30mm coil spacers in my GU sometime this week. I am somewhat "mechanically disadvantaged", but I think it should be an easy enough job for me to do myself. I was hoping someone could give me some tips as to the best way to do this. I was planning to ...

I'm driving a 4.8 Auto (as the sig says), with 35's, and 3.9 ratios (instead of the standard 3.5's) I still find that the engine breaking is really bad, and it runs away from me down steep hills. I was considering installing the 83% reduction gears, but it seems that the 44% may be better suited to ...

How's it look installed ? Keen on one myself but that ugly arsed hinge and caps make me bork a little :( I just installed this kit last weekend. Was really easy, took less than an hour. It's a really simple kit, but at least they have taken all the guess work out. Also, they no longer use the gold ...

21/5W Tail/Stop light wiring
Stupid question...
I'm wiring up the dummy lights in my GU, and was wondering which filament, in the dual filament (21/5W) globe should be used for stop, and which for tail. I'm guessing 21W filament is for stop, and 5W filament wired to tail light...
TIA
