60series HiBeam Issue
Problem: When flicking to highbeam, it would seem that im getting a dull "HiBeam" whilst "LowBeam" is staying on. Also when this happens, the blue dash like will not come on. Dull HiBeam will go out when flicked back to low beam. Maybe one or two times out of 20 when driving and flicking to high ...

Re: Why are Land Rovers So Expensive?
Ha, cheers blokes...
Yeah i was just curious with the defenders as there were really nothing on car sales. Just was wanted to get a feel for prices and what different year models were going for. Was unable to really find any apart from new ones, hence my curiosity.
Thanks!

Why are Land Rovers So Expensive?
So, not technically Tech, but definately about Rovers Since the old landcruiser is getting a bit old, was starting to browse online to see whats around, and landrovers peaked my interests, both the shortys and 110's. Not so many 2nd hand, and the newer ones are still fetching big prices. So, im ...

New clutchplate installation - which direction?
My dad has an old petrol rocky, think it was an '85. Anyways, took the clutch plate without taking too much notice, and now unsure which direction the new one goes back in... One side has a bigger lip than the other side, and also the springs stick out further this side... Looking at a manual online ...

well, ok dont stress... Once i thought about it, i removed a plug from the 2nd cylender, placed it in the last spot so at least the arm could attach to the bus bar and glowplug, then i used an old glowplug that was missing the top half to plug the hole on where i borrowed the other plug from (its ...

Have checked brushes in alternator, seem fine, next step was to replace regulator (external). Im not so good ...

Hey... What do guys do with their 60series that is really starting to bubble around the roof sills and pretty bad A-Pillers. YJ - leaf sprung jeep in aus???
I dont read much about the model before the TJ, the YJ... thinking it may have been a cheaper option to the TJ with its leaf springs, and minimal interior. Did many of them come into the country, are they any good. See a lot of pics from the states with them sprung over, seems a cheap way to get sum ...
