Ah, I think I understand now, so sometimes the dash lights will not come on except for oil light and the car will not crak at all but when the dash lights do come on it cranks alright? Do the lights come on with any movement of the car or wiring as that does sound like a wiring problem like a loose ...

G'day, does the starter go at all? Does the battery have enough go or does it need charging? Also, have you bled the fuel until it comes out from each banjo and fitting on the pump and injectors?

There isn't a whole lot more you could do with 35's than with 35's considering all the extra cost and effort. Good call on the 33's and lockers, should make it alot of fun.

I have my 3L idle set a little bit over 500rpm but this is a little low and vibrates a bit especially when cold but I will probably only go to around 600-700rpm

G'day all, I have bought a crossover steering kit (all except the steering box mount which i'll get soon), but I have been looking for a place to fit it and the quote are up around $1500 just to fit! To me that seems a bit steep. So my question is, where did you get your crossover steering fitted ...

So what is the difference between a boost compensator and an altitude compensator, just that the boost uses boost to control it and thats it?
Also is one better to use between the 2-LT and the 2-LT II?

Is this problem just with IFS or is the oil drain the same size with the solid axle lux?
Is it possible to just re-tap the standard one bigger or would it be best to just make a new hole and braze a nut on like in the pics?

I have just bought a turbo kit from a 2.4 to fit on my 92 2.8d hilux, it has manifold, ct20 turbo, dump pipe, line and hoses and eerything. My main question is what else will I need to buy/install make this work to its potential?

Pretty much that's it, I have a mate wanting to part out a 97 2.8 turbo diesel rodeo and I am wanting a turbo, so would any of the turbo parts work with a 92 2.8 diesel?

Problem all sorted out now, ended up being a bypass wire on the wrong terminal of the ignition coil

with ignition on and testing with screwdriver to open and close the points it did spark so my understanding was that means its not earthing out at the condensor because then it wouldn't spark as its already got an earth

I havn't checked the actual volts but the positive of the coil has a constant power and then flashes brighter when cranking so i am pretty sure that's working ok

My problem is that a mates gq is in a bad way and could do with all the bearings and everything on the right side so I thought a swap would be easier, but the diff is still good,could he use his original diff in a new housing?

I need to know if there are any differences between a front axle of a diesel 4.2 and a petrol 4.2 gq patrol, for an 88 model. Also, if there are any differences between LWB and SWB for this.

I am pretty sure that all the f100 rims that fit the sierra's (some have different centre holes and do not fit as I'm told) are the same offset and definately alot better than stock for that reason and extra width.They will not need extra work to the offset unless you plan a very wide car, the f100 ...
