ive heard of cv joints and locking hubs needing replacing on the newer models for no apparent reason.. (not from hardcore offroading)

probably because in the newer model gv's they dont have locking hubs... they have vacumm operated side gears in the front diff which activates when ...

ive got a full vinyl floor from them for my zook, in 3 pieces, looks pretty tough. I havent installed it yet so cant comment on how well it all fits up yet. I dont know if they do one for a lwb, i'll see if i can get some pics up tomorrow :armsup:

A bit more info on Ataris seat,

Due to the high sides on it, he had to slide the seat all the way back to get into it, then slide it alot forewards to reach the pedals and wheel (something about his ass being too big to fit between the steering wheel and seat , hence the poor seatbelt catch and lap ...

hey dude, a mate and i crossed the nullabor in the vit close on 10 years ago, was only running 205/75's at the time and went all good. fuel range in a zook will mean you'll be stopping at every servo to refill, not cos your empty, but you wont make it to the next one :? i remember sleeping outside ...

i vaguely remember there being transfer gears for a vitara other than 4.24:1 can anyone remember what ratios they were, who made them, and if there were any problems with them?

yeah i think people make them out to be worse than they actually are, ive only ever blown 1 and that was with the front locker on and only 1 hub locked in :roll: full lock left and trying to climb big embankment out of a creekbed at quite a few revs ;)

ljxtreems motor was a japanese market motor. Sourcing some parts is hard as even though they did come into australia, there weren't many so they don't come up on a lot of parts system computers.

I want to go efi in my vit for all the good reasons efi is better than a carby ;) ive found a g16A efi import engine with a 4speed auto behind it :armsup: whats the differnece between a g16a efi and the g16b efi we get here?
