I want to keep the centre of gravity as low as possible thats why no body lift.

I'd rather put 31's on and get two air lockers than a body lift. I'll have a chat to the guy's at Superior Engineering when they put my air locker in.

Cheers

33's on a 94 Hilux

Ok I just brought a 94 dual cab tray back Hilux with a 2" spring lift.

Can I put 33's on with out any mods.

I don't want a body lift.

On the treads I have found some people talk about moving the front diff forward?

Cheers

If you want huge tyres and axles why bother with a zook chassis. Get a SWB landrover or something a little stronger?

Axles are 50mm wider. LJ80 wont fit as it has the pumpking in the centre where as the others have it offset.

As well as the extra fuel filter put a uni filter (air filter) in. Ever since I did that I have had no problems with the idle. Before that it was playing up all the time.

I was thinking 75 series. I had heard Lux's where prone to shapping CV's so I thought a 75 series transplant would be stronger.

I had the same problem and fixed it. There is a plastic tube/pipe that lets the water from the air vent flow out through the fire wall. It will have come off. It is right up the back of the dash. I just put it back on and the problem was fixed. No more wet feet.

Mate they have to give you your money back. I'm not sure about Tassy but in QLD if the goods you purchase aint fit for what they say they have to give you your money back. Try consumer affairs. I wouldn't get them replaced it sounds like they are dodgy sh#t.

The cheapest one that doesn't need topping up. The no maintenance type.
I worked at Century once and they are all the same with differnt stickers of cases. Besides they nearly allways sh#t themselves before two years is up.

Current Stockmans are Maruti's. They are made in India. I know they make a wide track Maruti but I'm not sure if they send them here. As for the flares my 88 model has plastic. Most WT have metal flares. The 88 was a cross over hybrid. It still has the NT model number SJ50 where as other WT's are ...

I have been advised by a sheet metel worker that if you use alloy you can get it bent in one piece so it doesn't look like down pipe. Other wise you need what they call a lobster joint.

PJ If you want to get ride of the water in your tank stick some meths in ass it will combine with the water and go through the system. As for the carby. They want a return on their investment and you want as many $ as you can get. So may the best man win. Oh yeah and if you have to paint it pink you need a charge account for the local brothel.
