I've run 33x10.5s and found the handling to be terrible (BFG M/Ts) primarily due to a narrower tread design than a 31x10.5. Hard tops come up very occaisionally but full doors are impossible to find. Tell your friend to try and find one with hard top and full doors already as you can always get a softop and maybe aftermarket half doors but going the other way is nearly impossible. My vote would be to dump the LSD and put the locker in the rear straight away. The LSD fails pretty early on anyway and you'll get more traction benefit from the rear wheels than the front (more weight transfer to rear when climbing, push rather than pull etc..).
