in nsw u can fit them as the GU cab have a better adr rating and are safer then the gq body

no differance the cab will fit straight on as the chassis from GQ to GU is the same will just need to cut the inner front wheel well to fit the shock tower in i think no big deal im looking at doing the same conversion just trying to find a cab

there about 15mm to 20mm from guessing cant find my tape and there yellow if that helps

the Gearboxes and Transfer cases are totally different between the MQ and GQ. First the transfer case, the MQ's rear output is offert to towards the drivers side, where the GQ one is center output. the gearboxes are also different as they are designed for different engines. however both can go ...

hi guys im looking at putting a cage in my patrol ute and was told im only aloud to have a have half cage on the road but i would like to be able to have a full cage when out driving or when its in comps ive read on here though afew searchs that i can remove the "A pillar" for rego time and stuff ...

have a look on google mate search for comp tray and comp tube tray pictures

a mate of mine had a snap on one it seem to work well

mate you could always get a BA XR8 BOSS bonnet bulge off ebay

mate just go 5L or Ls1 they have much better power as the GQ's are heavy

there was a bloke on here a while back that got one made down in vic he done a wagon cut down i think it cost him around 250-300 if i remember right just do a search
