have replaced viscous fan, flushed radiator and renewed hoses. think some of the fins on the radiator are damaged, so it might need recoring. hopefully, that should fix it. i want to fit a snorkle for obvious reasons. plus, i have been told that it will make the engine run a little bit cooler. :?:

its a 6 inch spring lift with a 30mm coil spacer. took me about 1h to fit, all the angles etc seem to be fine and there is no vibrations or anything like that. I wanted the option of being able to lower it for a trip to fraser or something like that.

d'oh!! patrols gettin warm.

any one have any ideas why my gq 4.2 diesel patrol might be over heating? I know a 7 inch lift and 35's wouln't help much but someones got to have solved this problem before. It only happens on long up hills.around town and offroad is ok even on hot days.

thanks guys for your help. regarding 1/2 a fuel tank, we've tested this too. but it happens on full tank as well :cry: you've given us something to think about, anyway. we will investigate more. thanks.

air leak in 60 series???hHELP!!!

hi guys, please help!! my friends 60 series cruiser dies on an incline when off roading. we then have to bleed the air out using the hand fuel pump before she fires again. safe to say it's sucking air in from somewhere. anyone heard of this before and know how to fix??? REALLY FRUSTRATING other than ...

Before you do, i had the same problem with mine and i was told to use penrite light gear oil in box and transfer. and it worked a treat. if it ain't too bad might fix yours to.
