Outer Limits 4x4 Board

My first car 89 HJ61 Sahara, 1st week of ownership.....ready for some TLC :armsup: .

2 years on and a bit of time and effort she looked like this. Just before she was replaced 2 years ago for my current 80 series :cry:

My ute cab has seen better days and Toyota panels are ridiculously expensive, can anyone tell me if the windscreen frame and doors off a middy are the same as a 75 series ute?

I know the troopy doors are different but I am wondering if I could scrounge doors and a w/s of an frp 73series...

surely that kind of technical specification would be available from nissan, or in some sort of workshop manual. why dont you search the net for some sort of standard spec list?

The 1HD-T engine is still being built, but as a marine engine by Yanmar and they put out roughly double the power that it does in the Toyotas.

i assume these are expensive? purely for curiosity's sake, could you buy one of these and put it in a car? ie, compliance wise and fitting up to a gearbox ...

not 100% sure if they are the same but in my ute its between the battery and the passengers headlight in a black box, bolted to the guard.
