hi, Since the cost of the water pump is low, it is generally recommended that you change the water pump, timing belt tensioners, when the timing belt is done. regarding service, depends on the last service/history, and what has been done over the last 50K. Perhaps fluids, plugs, grease points, etc ...

If you pull abs fuses while the ignition is live you run the risk busting the ecu., here is a link:

On models where a factory rear locker was an option, there is an alternative method. Rig up a relay to advise the ecu that the factory rear locker is operating, which automatically disables the ABS system without the risk of pulling fuses. edit: Incidentally, I havent done it myself (yet) still at ...

thanks for the comments - sorry about the pic, only had a mobile phone camera to hand when it was the lift - will try an get a better picture. It seems (from memory) that the collar has split and the only thing holding it in place is the grip action on the bush, mind you I couldn't shift it by hand ...

T Bar Collars
hi, Had the truck up on a ramp a found the t bar collars seem to be broken. Not sure if the attached pic is clear enough. The steel collar seems to be unfolding from the bush. can I clamp this back? with a huge jubliee clip or similar? should I really replace the thing? if yes, is this a DIY job ...

sorry newbie questions.......
I have one spare (wheel and tyre) , but think I need second. If you have std tubeless tyres, say Yoyo 275/70R16 and suffer a puncture can you install and run on an inner tube without problems?
any thoughts?

There is a limited choice available here in Hong Kong, the other choice is chome finish superwinch but AUS $ 168 more expensive.
