Bullbar width, maybe 60 series

Hi all, i'm trying to find a bullbar to adapt to my Toyota Coaster. They are rare as hens teeth and exxy new. I am thinking a 60 series may be a good starting point. I was wondering if anyone had or could measure up their bullbar widths? I need something around 2meters to cover the front of the ...

Re: 80 series 5spd manual to auto, swaps?

Hey all, it is a 92 model with the 1FZ engine. Yeah the crappy part sounds like changing wiring looms etc especially if it's part of the body loom. Also having to cut/weld mounts while I have the gear to do that still a pain. Was hoping it may have been more of a bolt in job with some basic wiring ...

80 series 5spd manual to auto, swaps?

Hi all, i've got a 5spd manual 80 series but I want to convert it to auto.. I could sell it and buy an auto but quite like the car so would prefer to just swap to an autobox. So, do you's reckon it's the kinda thing someone would want to swap a manual for an auto box? I thought there may be someone ...

80 series gearbox input shaft bearing replacement

Hi all, I am thinking the input shaft bearing in my 80 series gearbox is on the way out.
If I pull the box out can this bearing be replaced without stripping the box apart, like is it accessible from the front of the box?
Thanks

Troopy interia fitouts pics?

Hi all, i'm trying to get some ideas on how to deck out the back of my 1991 troopy. Im undecided about trying to leave the bench seats in there, putting a piece of wood across them and a mattress on top of that when camping. Lots of room under the matress. Or not using rear seats and making ...

Its advertised for $11,500 but he sounded negotiable on the phone. I went around for a look but the owner wasn't there so couldn't take it for a drive. Its got 230,000km on the clock. 4.2ltr diesel engine that from appearance looked alright, no oil leaks etc. New radiator. Has dual fuel tanks Dual ...

80 series vs 75 series

Hi all, i've currently got a 1988 4runner that is getting a bit tired and proving to not be very capable offroad. I've always loved the look of the 75 series troop carrier. But then it seems the 80 series offer some advantages such as coil springs. My main requirements is something to drive around ...

First gen 4runner side window rust

Hi all, my 1988 4runner has a fair bit of rust in the rear canopy section along the bottom of the side sliding windows.

These pieces look like they are removable? Make repairs easier.

Or does anyone know if you can still purchase new?

Any tips on actually removing them?

Thanks

I'm going to drop a 1GGE in mine, and then chuck the SC14 supercharger on it.

You can get a 1GGZE .. I'm just doing mine a bit arse end about as I already own the 1GGE and would prefer the 1GGE inlet manifold with TB after the supercharger instead of the factory 1GGZE TB before designed one.
