Re: Range Rover LT230?
Thanks John as I was reading a wikipedia style web page about the electric thing but they said the classic as of 1985 got the LT230. Where I got the rangy from did not know, so I looked in the cab today for a lever or switch to centre lock. Your pic is brilliant I can see clearly what I'm looking ...

Re: VH45det (Nissan v8) - seeking experienced advice for big
I ran a VH45 once and found that at the time only 4 people had used the VH in a 4x4. I found one guy in brissy that had one twin turbo'ed on straight gas @ 550 hp in a GQ wagon. I was going to turbo mine too but was braking to much with the factory power (208kw, 410nm). From my experiance I needed ...

Re: VG30dett into a Patrol
From what I'm awear is that the vg30-35 from 300zx / 350zx autos are the same bolt pattern bell houseing to gear box, but will need the input shaft changed to take the patrol torque converter or just a space plate / addaptor from origonal flex plate to patrol torque converter.

Re: Why 350 Chev?
I'v been in trucks for years and owned td42 GQ's aswell, the old school trucks have big motors with low power and so did the old GQ patrols. New trucks run smaller motors high psi and more power, as the same for patrols. Eg scania 16L turbo (8psi)v8 = 500 hp as compared to new truck running 12L ...

Re: Swamper TSL vs. Trepador
And I can see that your needs are more tame than others, and you will may be say that 31's are your limits. But some people engineer there cars and have body lifts, larger tyres, turbos, etc other then there engineers report.

Re: Swamper TSL vs. Trepador
So if you are 'LEGAL' by engineer report to run 31-32" tyres you should state that in your topic, and if you are so concerned about this matter then you should also state this in your topic, and you will understand what I am about to say.
A engineers certificate should state speed rating as per ...

Re: Swamper TSL vs. Trepador
Hi , I have been in the tyre industry for years and the same comparasion is above, MTR v's BFG both are mud tyres both are 31, 33,35,37, 205,235 etc but the MTR is better on rock and the BFG is better in mud. This is not due to the tread pattern but the compond, the hard compond is also harder to ...
