I got a couple of these at the same time (boost and pyro) and found that the tech support (via email) was great when I had programing problems with mine. I would go straight to auberins by sending them an email, I always got a fast answers that solved all my problems.

The 80s came out with the 1HDFT from 95-98, they are definitely the ones to get but demand for them is high and so is the price. There have been a few on carsales lately that would be a good place to start. They did come out with an auto so you should be able to get what you want just depends how ...

If I were you I would be asking previous owner if he ever replaced the big end bearings, if not then at 270km they need to be done ASAP. From what I have read they need to be done every 100km for piece of mind, not a big job, but I wouldn't be driving if it were mine till I knew the big end bearing ...

Harrop engineering (vic) sell them, I don't know where else you would get them, they will freight anywhere. I got an email quote about 2 months ago and from memory it was about $1600 per locker complete (front or rear for 80s). I will be getting one as soon as funds permit, got to be better than an ...

I have two of these gauges one pyro and one boost. Anyway I had the car tuned a few weeks back and the mechanic checked my pyro with his hand held infra-red thermometer and commented it was miles out (like 100 degrees C cooler) anyone checked the accuracy of theirs? Wonder if its just difference in ...

Cheap Dual Wheel Carriers
Has anyone seen or had anything to do with these (see link)? They are very cheap compared to Kaymar etc (1/2 the price). Finish doesn't look great from the pics but I am more interested in if they are tough enough to last the distance. I wonder if this a case of you get what you pay for...

My cruiser has a UHF and working cruise control, not sure why a UHF would stop the cruise working. First thing I would check is the switches on the brake and clutch pedals (if manual) if these are faulty cruise won't work. Not sure where you would go from there, maybe someone else will have a better ...

The 1HD-FTs did not have the same bottom end problems the earlier 1HDT did. You should not need to replace the bottom end of one but you will if you buy a 1HDT with an unknown history.
As an owner of a 1HD-FT (1995) I can only rave about the power and fuel efficiency (11-12L/100km), and say it was ...

Dominator, I think people would be greatful as long as there was communication. The original discussion was the order would be placed when 10 people paid. That has occurred so all we require is a status update and I think it would lay everyones concerns to rest.

For those fellow 80s owners, I am planning to fit mine in the dash above the radio (and below the clock) in that useless little slot (that is only big enough for a bank card) that some of the overseas models had a pull out drink holder in. Its the perfect height to slot in there with a bit of infill ...

LT95 rear output shaft play
Gday all
After some help on this topic. I have an 85 isuzu county that has noticable play in rear output shaft that can be felt at the handbrake drum (moves up and down couple of mm). The front shaft has no play at all. I have taken off the rear drive shaft and checked the torque on the big nut on ...
