So i have the air locker now (RD132). today i pulled the rear diff out and its a two pinion with a 45mm bearing carrier :roll:
Can anyone tell me what model hilux diff this is?
What model hilux has the 50mm carrier?

Hilux diff

I'm going to buy an ARB air locker but i'm not sure what the model number is for the diff i have.

The Axle housing is a Rear Bundera and the Center is an Hilux. Can anyone give me a idea on what i ask for when i go to buy the air locker?

There WILL be 4 circlips for each cup as they are the original uj's, ya just gotta look harder. Remove the caps from the "H" yoke on the 4 bolt end first., once both caps are out the centreing pin will seperate from the ball kit, after that its pretty straight forward like removing a normal uj ...

you take out the circlips on all then put the flage on the vice and use a soft hammer and hit them out. The cups in the bigger body use a punch to punch them out. Clean it up properly and inspect the center pin of the cardon joint cos if it stuffed you need to cut and weld in a new end flange. this ...

Thats Clean ! ! ! Youl probably find that it was pressed together, not something thats desighned to be pulled apart. I bought this hilux axle housing for my project car and put in. The diif come from somwhere else and it is a 4.8 ratio Can any tell me from the pics below what year model hilux diff this is. I still haven't found a hi pinion diff.
So if i buy after market reverse cut ring and pinion (8") can i fit them to my hilux diff centre and just turn the diff upside down :?:

Thats great fellas thanks for the input.
Now i have to find a couple hi-pinions with 4.88 ratio.
As for the strength it should be ok as i'm running the diffs in a LWB Sierra
