GU diesel radiators??
Are they all the same?
The reason I ask is I can get a radiator for a 4.2td GU but have a 2.8td GU
So I need to know, will it fit and will it work?

Patroler, yeah thats pretty much it, he tells me that less bends etc, means the air is rammed into the turbo so makes more power. (whilst I realise that more air, less bends does mean more power, I also think that the "ram" affect is b/s) I said that if the induction system (snorkel or not) flowed ...

Thanks for input guy's, The convosation started because the mechanic at work had the chance to get a factory nissan snorkel for cheap, Instead he is opting for another brand that's $120 or so more, Simply because he thinks it flows better, therefore has more air going through it, therefore makes ...

I'm thinking that if the turbo is drawing air from atmospheric pressure it'll take a little longer and work harder to move the same volume of air as a turbo that has a volume of air pressure feed to it. Does this sound reasonable or correct? (to a degree) But even if that is the case, it will only ...

does bigger snorkel = more power?
had a discussion with a mechanic at work, he seems to think that just by adding a larger snorkel you get more power? Scenario; 4.2 factory turbo diesel, non-intercooled with a 3.5" stainless snorkel, If you were to put a 4" or 5" snorkel onto it would it make more power A) driving or moving B ...

I agree, V8patrol definatly knows his shit, and I have asked him for info many a time before, But as far as I can find, using search  and other various sources the only difference I can find is input shaft sizes, apart from p40 boxes, somehow they were different? flame suit on, correct me if I ...

This is what I thought.... But apartently there is a gear set available. Someone called "rick" off this forum had a set cut for around $1400 I'm led to belive. I haven't had any confirmation of this but seems a little cheap for a one-off. A t/case was advertised recently here. The nissan 5spd is the ...

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't propane, lpg or nitrous injection all forms of chemical supercharging? and if that's so then it's not a N/A diesel which sort of defeats the purpose of spending all that time and money for a thirsty power plant that could make more from a turbo or supercharger? You ...

EXTREMLY DODGY  . do not spray fuel through a spray bottle into your maf/throttle body. It is you fuel pump, Lift the carpet in the rear (boot) and on the top of the wheel well there it is, You have to undo a bandclamp, then unscrew the black plastic. Clamp off the fuel lines though or you'll ...

thank you, I wasn't tooo worried about extra fuel usage as it's only a 2.8, I was however curious about other mentioned items. I have found however that they run of a coolant temp sensor, so the only inssue's I can think of is exhaust smoke increase, pyro temp increase and fuel usage, but if it's ...
