what are the average k's you get out of these engines? i have a chance to buy a 254,000 km tb42 engine. like i said i intend to rebuild it, but i might not need to hurry myself if i dont have if i get a car with good k's on it

yes but its what you use the car for, eg. ive done winch challanges befor, and the dust that it generated the car was starting to missfire and blow smoke. the unifilter was good because in 20 mins we were all good to go again, we washed the filter out ,sat it on the rocker cover it dried in 5mins ...

most if not all high performance filters you talk about will have a cleaning solvent and an oil you have to put on it,the reson i dont like the paper filters is that in a sealed (no drain holes) airbox and a little bit of water, it actually damages the paper element to the point if you get a light ...

i was giving a mate a hand getting out of a situation, me in my mav and he was in a navara, strap broke caved my rear barn doors,in punched the door lock through the door,and i had to get the wrecing bar inbetween the doors to get them open!

hey all, i am buildng a tray for my gq shorty ute, i am chassing a fuel talk thats pretty much rectangle,and holds about 150l,i am sort of ater a replacement tank like "long ranger",but something off the shelf,not wanting to get anything custom made at this stage,Eg. so i can buy.pickup's etc easier ...

you can always run a few welds up the liner. this tends to shrink them. it has worked on many an engine i have rebuilt.just remember to earth the welder to the liner, you dont wanna damage the seat and have to cut and shim it.

sorry i should have explained better. i have cut holes through the dash, and i can run the pipe down to the floor but it just sits really close to the accelorator pedal, i just wanted to know how close peoples really are.

it was more a guideline. you build to these specs and you souldnt have a problem as they are adopting these rules and regs. well thats the case in vic anyway. but you shouldnt have a prob as stated above,your merely redesigning the suspension,a mate done it on a 40 shorty, leafs to coils, no drama ...

i think i got 6" over standard pajero shocks, cant remember properly ,but i had 3" procomps and the spring was still retained tight in the sadle and the shock bottomed out, so i jacked the arse up until the springs only just had some weight on em' measured it, and searched and searched for a spring ...

the car has a 3" suspension lift 2" body lift and rinning 35" baja's
