Ive just pulled off my thottle body to fix this problem, it seems i cant push the valve all the way closed, it should go all the way in right? ive put tonnes of WD40 in there (both sides) and fiddled with it... will it eventually "click" into place? or is it worth grabbing a new throttle body? Ill ...

Soft top problems - looking for "hooks"

Hey people,
I just picked up a soft top for the roza here, ive got most of it on, now it seems i need 12 "hooks" to secure it to the body... I dont have any of these hooks, i can see the points of where they go in... Does anyone have any spares or know of another solution?
Cheers
Rob

lol drewe thats bad luck... the edging on mine is pretty poor too close up, in fact, i didnt trim it at all, just got the dimensions right and the metal shop cut them up, they fit fairly nice, i could round the edging but havnt bothered... it does the job (support the weight of heavy 6x9s).

Check for bent up underneath to see if its been racked... i couldnt pull off my gearbox support to replace the mount (also engine mounts are often broken) due to it being dinged up, shows the guy who owned it last did some hard driving in it...

i think detomaso too hard to get and too expensive... get an applause engine cheap, torque cam, exhaust, extractors, maybe computer... that should give similar performance to the detomaso 1.6 motor.

Check out jaycar for electrical accessories... You can get some real good battery connectors that have 4x8gage outlets and a voltage readout. Also you could put a distributor block in the back... then you can add on whenever you want without havin to screw around with installing too much cable.

The feroza doesnt have a normal sump gasket, instead has a seal on each end about 2" long, goo around the rest...

It is a fairly common problem with the feroza, worth ...
