REAR LEAVES - LWB v's SWB

Have 1985 LWB....

Are the rear standard leaf springs inter-changeable with the more common SWB one's from any other years? Or would they be longer?

From what i can tell about the rest of the vehicle everything seems to be the same as the SWB models except for the obvious.....tailshaft.

Cheers

I run 32x11.5's they work well on the sand/mud, however i had an old set of BFG All terrains, 205/75/15's and they were excellent on the Sand!

Transfer Mounts

Just a quick post....
Back up the driveway this morning and the transfer dropping about 4 inches. Upon inspection, the two LHS mounts were torn in half, both tailshafts drop out.
Lucky it happened in the driveway and not halfway through a wheel.

Re: My springs have curved the wrong way.

My leaf springs are concave up, (which is how they were when I got it), and I've decided to finally do something about it. I've heard that this is a problem in some old Zooks. Should I just replace them or should I get them repaired? What sort of cost am I looking at? Leave them and do a spring ...

Drained the oil yesterday, there was 1/4 of a tooth stuck to the plug.
Gonna get the lads in Vibration analysis to do a complete survey on the entire vehicle, will pinpoint the problem to either bearing or gear failure whilst in motion.
