GQ tailshaft dont fit GU diff
Hi guys, ive just fitted GU rear end in my GQ and found the the old tailshaft dont fit the GU... the GU flange is smaller and has female alignment (looks to be the same as the GQ front diff flange) the GQ has male alignment and a larger flange... Out of curiosity, Where is the height measured to determine how much lift you have? fester, the lug is just plate steel welded at 90 deg to the box (a fillet weld i believe) fiftyfrenzy, the setting you have suggested is pretty close to what i am running, im using thoriated (red tip) tungsten with size 6 gas cup sharp point on tungsten about 5-7mm stickin out depnding on the room ...
