on the note of things being attached to spare wheel carrier, anyone know where i c`an get the poles you mount onto them for the camp/reverse lights?

overall height according to redboomk is 1760mm i measured mine and it sits roughly 5" higher then this.

if i remember correctly the heights are in the gregorys manual. i dont have access to mine at the moment but im sue someone here can find theris

mates got a 3" right from turbo all the way through with a hotdog on his 4.2td gu sounds sweet but not to load when normal driving and givin it a kick power wise

its a pitty about the attitude of some business. ive had a similar expirence and in the end got fed up with it and left it at that. but people remember a bad experience more then a good one. hope it works out.

wanting to run 4 lights of the one switch. they are just rock lights so probably no more then 55w for each light. how do i go about this?

ive heard the 80series mc gives a bit better braking

im running 2 and 2 and the 33's clear fine. 35's hit on the springs.

ive got a second hand box in the lux im just pulling apart the old one. so i dont need a rebuild or anything just wondering if its worth the trouble

they are plentiful but i dunno about cheap. its a 5spd box out of a ln106 lux

lost reverse gear in my gearbox on the counter shaft i think its called. the main shaft with gears 1-5 is fine. my question is is it work stripping the main shaft ouit to keep as a spare incas emy new box goes one day?

that seems bloody expensive to me. i got mine done 6mths ago and it didnt cost me hat much not sure exactly wat it was. next time ill be doing it myself now that i have an idea of how to do it.

ive got 33's on a 15x10 rim and have run them in comps and weekend play and on the road and havnt had a problem. ive had the tyre down as low as 8psi and still havnt broke the bead.

have a look at boofs, guts, twistys, nemisis lux's im sure theres a heap more around to

guts has same model lux so his will be a good one to look at as the others are later model and have a larger engine space.

should be a plate on the turbo saying what it is or have a part number. pretty sure its isnt a dts system, different intake piping. not a ats setup?

i supose alli would be best for induction? being smoother and able to cool quicker? does the alli induction make it louder?

im running 3" suspension 2" body and 33's they clear fine but having said that my shocks bottom out before.

havnt moved diff forwad but that would probably help with scrubbing if you do ...

ive turboed my 2.8l (3L) about 6mths ago and im not running a boost compensator. running about 10-11psi. blows a little smoke at idle if u rev it but nothing whilst driving. i dunno if thats an idicator of how much fuel is or isnt being burnt.

how longs a peice of string? my old 87 lux had 350odd km on it and everything was still fine.

hzj75 these are the mob im going through to get for my front on my hilux. theyve be highly reccomended to me by several people on another forum. and a 4wd shop speaks highly of parabolics in general. im giving them a try after having three sets of 2" lifted springs collapse on me.

brooksy isnt doing anymore work untill hes got his new house.

i doubt it they changed in 97. tho they may be pretty close.

with this is there much difference in fuel consumption after a couple months of having a turbo fitted? first long trip i got 400km to a 3/4 of a tank then next trip smae distance and road i used a full tank sitting roughly on same speed with same fuel.

i never had the problem and i have 5" of lift. but both superior and snake racing recommended i get a drop drag link so i did.
