overall height according to redboomk is 1760mm i measured mine and it sits roughly 5" higher then this.

gday

wanting to run 4 lights of the one switch. they are just rock lights so probably no more then 55w for each light. how do i go about this?

busted gearbox

gday all

lost reverse gear in my gearbox on the counter shaft i think its called. the main shaft with gears 1-5 is fine. my question is is it work stripping the main shaft ouit to keep as a spare incas emy new box goes one day?

just asking as im striped one torx screw and snaped one torx bit and ...

ive got 33's on a 15x10 rim and have run them in comps and weekend play and on the road and havnt had a problem. ive had the tyre down as low as 8psi and still havnt broke the bead.

have a look at boofs, guts, twistys, nemisis lux's im sure theres a heap more around to

guts has same model lux so his will be a good one to look at as the others are later model and have a larger engine space.

im running 3" suspension 2" body and 33's they clear fine but having said that my shocks bottom out before.

also running
adjustable droped drag link
adjustable torque rod
geasable shackles
tough dog foam cell shocks

havnt moved diff forwad but that would probably help with scrubbing if you do ...

ive turboed my 2.8l (3L) about 6mths ago and im not running a boost compensator. running about 10-11psi. blows a little smoke at idle if u rev it but nothing whilst driving. i dunno if thats an idicator of how much fuel is or isnt being burnt.

hzj75 these are the mob im going through to get for my front on my hilux. theyve be highly reccomended to me by several people on another forum. and a 4wd shop speaks highly of parabolics in general. im giving them a try after having three sets of 2" lifted springs collapse on me.

with this is there much difference in fuel consumption after a couple months of having a turbo fitted? first long trip i got 400km to a 3/4 of a tank then next trip smae distance and road i used a full tank sitting roughly on same speed with same fuel.
