Can someone please tell what weight oil to run in the front diff of a 2002 gu patrol wagon.I know its 5.4 litres,but forgotten the rest.

conversion was done by brunswick diesels in WA after the 3 litre went bye bye at 112,000k.
Not a Duramax.total conversion was $23,000 drive in,drive out.
Money well spent.75,000 k's on it so far and not a hint of trouble

I've had my Brunswick installed 6.5 in my gu for 2 years now and have covered 70,000 k's so far. Not one problem at all,expensive conversion yes,worthit ,definantly. I'd definantly go the chev again,I had the 6.5 installed 60,000k's ago and hasnt missed a beat.$24000 for install running 3.5 diffs I think,(whatever is in the 4.5 petrols). Yep,sounds just like mine was before it died. Didn't use heaps of coolant probably a litre over 1500k,but when the head finally gave out used all of it.Never been overheated in the time I have had it 35000k's to 101000k's.
