Coily extractor

I have a 98 coily and i'm contemplating fitting a calimin stainless steel header. I vaguely remember reading somewhere that there is an issue with clearing the steering links because they run behind the axels. Does anyone have any info on this?

Driveline Vibrations

I have a 98 coily and i'm running a leafy transfercase with trail tough 4.9:1 gears. Recently i have been getting some pretty strong vibrations which i have narrowed down to the prop shaft that goes fron the gearbox to the transfer case.

I have checked the unis and the seem to be ok, some one ...

was looking at fabricating a perch which would fit over the current shock mount and the spring would sit on that, then i would use a shock of the apropriate length which tould use the original shock mounts but would not have the rest for the ...

was thinking the sierra gear reduction would help with running bigger tyres, then it ocurred to me that it would be the same as running 5.12 gears and a 4.9 transfercase gears on a sierra

Well the locker is definately not unlocking, what effect does the thickness of the two spacers that go next to the block that holds the cross pins have on operation?

going by what you are saying mine might not be unlocking, there is no clicking going on with mine, will try a lower tyre pressure and see what happens.

I jacked up one side and could rotate one tyre a few degrees and before it stopped, i'm assuming that is the 25 degrees of backlash that they talked about in the manual. I'm not hearing any clicking sounds that are mentioned, are the gears/teeth on the locker and the side gears supposed to engage ...
