brake light and turn signal short on a 90 US Rocky

Just wondering if anyone else has had the stop light blow fuses and the turn signals as well. Obviously a short somewhere, but just wanted to know if anyone could give me some hints for the needle in the haystack...thanks (hand signals are so old school  )

replacing both ball joints on 93 U.S. Trooper

Has anybody replaced upper and lower joints themselves on a 1993 U.S. Trooper, and if so how bad a job is it? Local garage wants $700 to replace both upper and lower on drivers side and I want to make sure this is not something I can do myself considering the parts are about $90 together. ANy input ...

Has anyone heard of using a 1.8 liter engine from toyota that has the same bolt pattern? I have heard rumors here in the US, but no specifics.

1.3L block, 1.6L head combo question about cam pulley..

Would the cam shaft pulley from a 1.6L have a different amount of teeth than a 1.3L? I am having difficulty aligning the Tbelt without keeping the crank pulley from turning...I have been aligning the marks as the manual says, counting the teeth on the belt between marks. But when I try to slide ...

question about how to set ignition timing for feroza.

So i bought a used timing gun with no manual and I am trying to make sure that I am doing this right. I am assuming the 1.3L is the same as the 1.6L in this regard. 1) disconnect lower vacuum hose on distributor. plug hose from intake 2) connect power cords and adjust dial to 3 degrees BTDC. Aim the ...

timing belt change question

Ok, I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this but since I don't want to bend some valves...when changing the timing belt...if you line up the drilled hole on the crankshaft gear with the mark on the oil pump and the F and hole below the F on camshaft pulley with the arrow on the cover, shouldn't the ...

Fuel injector Orings

Seeing as how the Feroza/U.S. Rocky is such a rare commodity here in the states. No local part houses carry orings for the injectors. Does anybody know if the Orings are injector specific or not?

Simply PV, do you know how hard it is to find injector orings here in the states. Can you pick them up at Autozone or someplace like that? I just had one spring a leak tonight while putting fuel rail back on.

Yes, it did run rich. OK, apparently the 1.3L motor used in the charade here in the states uses 93 teeth. Would the tensioner be different on a 1.3 L than a 1.6L? Is it possible for a 1.3L charade motor to be put in a feroza? I know the engine in the car is not original to the car. Ah! The joys of a used car with no ...

# of Timing Belt Teeth

Anybody know the amount of teeth on the timing belt for a feroza/US rocky. Part houses say 95. Mine has 93. While changing timing belt with a new one ,95 teeth, it has way too much slack. Still had the original which only had about 15000 miles on it, and it is really tight. The belt tensioner moves ...

toyota axle swap to feroza/U.S. Rocky

I just can't find the threads for this, so here's the question. I have found some solid Hilux axles, just toyota truck axles here in the US and was wondering what is involved in swapping axles on a feroza. Is it worth it? If there is a thread on this please let me know.
