Power steering leak through reservior??

Got a strange one. Recently had the power steering box recondition in the '89 diesel GQ. About a week later I noticed power steering fluid leaking, but it appears to be coming out of the reservior. When cold the dip stick didn't even register so I filled it again (cold level) and went for a quick ...

Wheel bearing lock washer question

Hey guys, just doing the wheels bearing on the GQ with the lock nut upgrade (round ones). Just wondering if I keep the lock washer that goes up against the outer bearing, not the one between the old lock nuts (hex ones).

Cheers.

Now the vehicle has been in a accident previous to owning it and I recently had the chassis straightened, but is still out a little . Anyways, these were the results. After draining the old fluid out, I put new fluid in getting alot of air still coming out, now no fluid seems to be coming through to the slave cylinder valve. True Wal, I beleive they are stronger. Probably not something you are going to break in a hurry (plenty of other things that will go first on an IFS hilux  ). However, they appear to be good value from all reports :). Would have liked a pair of Warm premium hubs, but I got my front diff centre ...

Having a bastard of a time getting the drive plates off, any secret to getting them off? (dont have a puller). The vacuum system does not have to be changed and it will work the same as it did before with the hubs locked in. Just have to make sure you don't push the 4WD button while driving and the ...

Heya Wal, I'm in the same position.......wanting to change my ADD hubs(live hubs as opposed to the old auto hub system) to manual hubs. I'm just not sure if its a matter of just changing the hubs or whether or not anything has to be done to the vacuum system ?? Good link Ausyota, explains the ...
