sorry molch i found the guys phone number and tried callin him to find out where he got the adaptor from only to find out that he was 1 of the unlucky people killed in the fires, i wouldnt have a clue where else to try As for the fuel sitution i bought the second jack with a blown motor for parts ...

Molch, i was told it was a marks adaptor but could be wrong i got it through a bloke in melb who had a 5L in a mu thats where the idea come from il see if i can find his details for you he will be able to get 1 for you

just for future referance marks adaptors in melb do up a bell housing to fit a 5L into a v6 jack works a treat just doesnt like cvs very much but pullin 337hp to the wheels so a fun drive

hey does anyone know where all the vacumm hoses on the left hand side of the fire way are meant to run to on a 3.1 diesel jackaroo

the dickhead guy pulled them all out to run his wiring through without marking which 1 was where

i did the bushes on my jackaroo was a bit of a pain in the arse but i did it without the manual and using youe standard tools just have a torque wrench and a breaka bar handy i was reccomended to use the super bush brand by a mate the works at a suspension shop

mine was doin that awhile ago it would run rough for about a minute then stop

check your glow plugs thats all it was on mine changed them and problem solved

thanks for the ideas so far guys i did a check today and it cant be the transfer case i put it in high 4 with the hubs still unlocked and there is no noise

so i guess that means its either the hubs or the cvs

if anyone knows how to check the hubs and/or cvs any info would be greatly appreciated

funny noise when in high 4wd

when in high4 there is a strange whining sound comming from the front assumed diff pulled the cover off and everything seems fine only does it in high 4 so must be diff or drive shaft releted i thought

any help appreciated

try Grp automotive at brendale they tuned my jacka it cost about $150 but it made a big difference money well spent thay do a lot of diesels and performance cars

of you could try bob Ramano at mauarrie bit more expensive but he really knows what he is doin

i got a 3.1 td i get between 11 and 13 drivin it into the city everyday gets arount 10 on decent distance highway trips i got 31s bullbar and draws an exhaust makes a big difference

Thanks for your tips guys i decided to mix it up a bit i went with the EFS shocks, the PRO COMP torsion bars and the LOVELLS springs in the arse it seems to be ridin alright. i took it out on the weekend and i am very happy with the result thanks again for your feedback

I got the same issue as you gobbles

The gauge shows about 2 psi at idle the when under load on boost shows around 12 psi thinking this was a problem with the turbo (replaced 17k ago) i took it to the mechanic who said that the guage hasn't been set properly from the factory
