Personally I'd use the LC60's, especially if you're on big rubber as its a lot stronger than the RR diff. I'm in the process of building a Landy with the Rover V8/gearbox, and have used the LC60 axles and so far its coming together nicely. Also, the transfer is designed to run a 3.54 diff and 29's ...

ok i wanna put a rover v8 in my hilux . but no one makes a adaptor kit or any thing to put it with a lux box . my question is . dose the rangie gear box ( auto or manual) and transfer have the same side drop as a hilux or is it the oppeset?????? im thinking it could be much cheaper to use the motor ...

yeah the toyota lsd is pretty shit , the nissan lsd does work really well and they last too instead of putting the shitty lsd back in look at investing in a locker even if you buy a cheap 2nd hand diff to keep the rig mobile n put the other money you were going to spend on the lsd towards a locker ...

Could be, but most serious comp trucks are running twin motor winch units on 24v systems - big in the UK too. There's a UK based manufacturer that is selling lots of these units over here - twin 8hp motors on high mount Warns, hardened shafts, free spool etc etc. Any info or links to these units ...

get a set of parrot beak stiltsons they grip every thing . i got a set form bunnings for $30 had to use it on shower tap bodys to change washers . tebodys where seriosly corroded . it got them of and i was two hands swinging off them and they didnt stip just held on and cracked the corroed tap body ...
