Re: Rubber vs polyurethane bushes?
I agree with Chunks in the four 60 series cruisers I have owned over the years poly just seems to not last, I was wondering if it was the same for the coil suspension? I was quoted through my local guy $100 for poly bushes in the lower arms and $220 for rubber bushes that aren't genuine, I haven't ...

Rubber vs polyurethane bushes?
Been searching here and the net but have not come up with a definitive answer, will I get more flex from rubber trailing arm bushes than polyurethane bushes? Rubber bushes are twice the price of polyurethane are they really worth it? The rubber bushes I am assuming are originals and have lasted over ...

I will do a full rebuild while I am fixing it. I need prices, been on ebay and had a quick look a couple ...

What latch on spare wheel carrier?
I am nearly finished building my rear bar and spare wheel carrier, I was wondering what does everyone use to keep them latched on and also has anyone got an idea on how to latch the wheel back while the door is open so it won't hit me or the door if it is a little windy etc.

Looking for in-line air cleaner
A while ago there was a link posted in here for an in-line air cleaner. It looked similar to a water to air intercooler but inside was a pod filter. A mate needs one as he only has enough room for a pod filter and its pretty hard to hook that up to a snorkel.

Thanks dow50r I only have half a shaft in at the moment, I have the bit that connects onto the diff centre left, I left the transfer end disconnected but still on the bolts (no nuts on) for the short trip to the exhaust centre after I fitted a 1HDT in so the exhaust bloke didn't have to undo it. I ...

Cheers Dumbdunce for the clutch and the advice, the electrical system was sorted when I put belts on  the extra plug on the 1HZ is another fuel shutoff for some reason, I am thinking it is for the low oil sensor etc to shut the motor down if it gets low. I adjusted the clutch by pulling out ...

1HDT in a HZJ105
I have just about completed putting a 1HDT in a HZJ 105, I have it in and it runs fine but I have an electrical and clutch gremlin, I have everything plugged in right except I have no belts on yet and there is a 3 pin plug on the original 1HZ motor's fuel pump that the 1HDT doesn't have so I left it ...
