Re: hj75 H55F gearbox issues
HJ/fj75 and HJ/FJ60 gearboxes are the same from 1984 to 1990. The HZJ75 then has the H55F but it had a fine spline front shaft where the 1984 to 1990 box had a coarse spline front shaft. cheers

Re: Flywheel Machining
Cheers, It is my understanding that if the fly wheel is not machined that the warranty is void if you need to claim.
It may pay to check this out, anyway.

Repco in Townsville can fit the oil squirter's. They told me they turn the block upside down and machine the location and then drill and tap the block at the correct angle. If you rebuild use steel sintered pistons . X2 on what Flyology said on the alternator. I got the same and from same people ...

My HJ75 got so bad I bought a second hand wiper motor from Private Parts 4x4 in Sydney and swapped out the motors. It cured the problem but I have not pulled the wiper motor apart yet to see what was causing the problem. My wipers struggled like yours until they were obviously going to stop or burn ...

It is my understanding that unless the tyre is marked by the manufacturer as suitable for re grooving that it is illegal to do so in Queensland. Are your tyres marked suitable, otherwise un roadworthy , defect, no insurance. If you only use is off road on private property , maybe you owe yourself or ...

Where is the tail light relay , FJ75SWB
Cheers, A mate has no tail lights on his FJ75SWB but has brake lights. He says he has double checked all his fuses and they are OK. I thought the relay was near the aircon vent on left side of dash near the door but it seems there are two other relays there. Can you tell us where the tail light ...

Internal Voltage Regulator for HJ75
Cheers, Can anyone tell me where I might be able to pick up an Internal regulator for the 2H alternator. Ingrams,A.E.D. Distributors and Cooldrive Townsville cannot get me one. They say they are no longer available and Dowkers Electrical here confirmed this. The alternator appears good apart from ...
