The standard 4 runner has the same offset as the navara, go for the landcruiser ones and they will give you a bit extra width.

I think maybe it might be the shifter, because it is hard to pull up to go into low. Bloody 80 series straight shift bullshit I liked the "U" shift pattern better in my 75 and 47 series. I will have stop workin on the motorhome and pull it apart over Xmas, thanks for the sugestions anyway guys ...

My 80 series is jumping out of low rage going down hill I'm not sure weather it is not engaged properly in the first place. It on does it going down hill under compression, pretty scarey and not cool, does anyone have any ideas?

My 80 series diesel is jumping out of low range going down hill with the foot off the loud pedal, any ideas? it is also hard to get into low range some times?

G'day guys I have an 80 series and it is jumping out of low range when going down hills with the foot off the loud pedal. Bad or not give me an idea.

New converter and pretty much everything else under the bonnet, the exsisting converter was the wrong size. I also had to get a new air flow meter as the old one was damaged from backfiring due to the old system. Everything new and well tuned it is all running sweat as now, so much so that i don't ...

There not bad on gas if you have the right system,when I got mine it ran ok I have just had the system overhauled and it has gone from 280K's for 60 ltrs to 350K's.They are also a much better car to drive aruond just one of the plus's with the IFS.

Had 33 inch a/t style Coopers on a HJ75 series ute great tyres, currently have BFG M/T's on my 80 series also a good tyre but maybe a bit noisy for what you want.
