So who submitted the protest? It has become confusing because no one is mentioning any names. Was it Parker/McGilvray? If so than I can understand everyone being so bitter. However if it wasn't, then remember they actually won the event and probably deserved to do so. Don't take that away from them ...

Neil and Ellis (Scottish chaps) came round yesterday for a lesson on the GPS before they leave on Friday. Ellis is getting the hang of the Garmin but I don't think Neil can even switch it on! Nothing like last minute..... :P

Hope you all have a ball this year chaps and all the best.

Was at a big event a couple of weeks ago and the Panhard rod bust off another truck in the team. We left them be and carried on but it was ages before the mobile welder got to them. So, what exactly does it take to weld in the bush with just the truck batteries. Size of leads, max size of rods etc ...

A lot of guys use Jackalls over here, including myself. They are perfectly good jacks, infact I would argue that the one I have is better than a couple of mates Hi-lifts. The Jackall seems to work well whether it is looked after or not whereas I find the Hi-lifts a bitch if they are left out in the ...

There should be no probs at all, it's still a relatively small tyre. The lift should help as far as the arches are concerned. You may have to adjust your steering stops to prevent the tyre catching the front radius arm but I doubt it. All depends on your off set on your wheels. Standard or ...

Pj, check out http://www.maddison4x4.com/component/option,com_ibexregister/Itemid,30/ It's a register of all the vehicles produced. Just so you know guys, (i'm not being clever Jason) the Foers Ibex is a recognised and registered make and model, as a brand new vehicle. It isn't a kit car as such. Foers being the make and Ibex the model.

We had exos on our cars for when entering the OBC which were 50mm steel, bolted through the body which actually has it own full size space frame. They still made us build an internal cross brace inside them. This would explain why when we rolled, we didn't even dent the body whereas the South ...

No one has broken Ashcroft cv's yet in the UK. And they've been tested in the toughest events What about 101 axles? 38mm shafts and rather large cv's. Pete Whitman is running his under an LS7 on 42" IROKS and he's had no probs. Bryn has his on Boggers without hassle. Then there's Dynatrack but £3000 ...
