No snorkels are made for bundy's anymore, TJM or ARB used to do one but no longer...

you can put a 75 series snorkel on the drivers side with some moving of engine bay components but when i owned my bundy i found the easiest thing was to just get an alloy one made up, look smicko as well. Got it ...

guys i would love to get an event going in the area. The terrain is absolutely awesome and would eat up some of the places on the east coast.

All we need to do is get those east guys to be willing to come over and compete. I am keen as mustard to build something so maybe if i go over to the east ...

Guys, The problem here was the spotties obstructing the airflow....

I must emphasize that the temperatures are around 44-46 degrees celcius at the moment here. I got 40km out of town doing 110km/hr and it started boiling. It as a brand new thermostat in it as i replaced it after the first time it ...

yeh the cause of the overheating was the lightforces on the front but i am still interested in ways of cooling it more as i want to be confident in it when i do the kimberleys trip.

I am living in the Pilbara now and want to know is there anything around at all.

There is a 4wd Club in town here and i would like to see whether the guys here are keen to start something up. Most guys in the town are happy to spend money for a bit of entertainment so i dont see why 4wd comps ...

overheating on GU TD4.2

i found out my spotlights were causing some pretty major overheating after about 1/2 hour of highway driving. The spotlights are off but i am interested in ways to cool the engine better.

Summer here is average 45 degrees. Does the nissan bonnet scoop make a difference?

For the legends class... Must you use rhs chassis and is there an amount that has to be used??? Like from the front to the positiion of the rear axle or whatever ...

I have the opportunity to get a GU coil cab 1999 model pretty cheap, but it has the non-turbo early motor in it? what are they like? Would 2 grand be enough to get a turbo fitted to it? maybe an intercooler as well? What do you nissan guys think...

the bundera's (RJ70: petrol, LJ70 turbo diesel) are the coil sprung version... see my signiture below...

The others are leaf sprung.... not sure of the codes.

the other issue is strength... to an extent, the further the distance between the cv joints and the centre of the rim... the more stress you are putting on the system.... As for how much i have no idea.

I think dumdunce ran spacers on his bundy so he may be able to give personal you an idea for ...

you dont necessarily need flares to go to that size... they may stick out a bit. If you are using it offroad, my advice would be get some well offset rims or even spacers to get your track wider. That way its nice and stable on slopes.
