intercooling a 1hd-fte 78 series

hey guys, wanting to intercool my troopy, and am looking at the 4wd systems glycol style intercooler.

Has anyone tried this system or have a diferent system theyd rate?

sagged front spring on soa

my zooks been soa for a few months now andnoticing the front right spring is realy started to sag. they r 2i lifted king springs.

this a comon problem on soa zooks and can springs be reset or is it worth replacing both fronts.

yeh thats the dizzy i have. but that thick mounting bracket at the bottom has to be filed down.

got the wrong info fed to me, its a seven pin dizzy. the motor is a baleno engine but the dizzy that suited the loom is to tall andhas to be filed down to make it fit. so it retards initialy before accelerating, not masivily though. wondering could i have a baleno motor and a vitara loom and ecu ...

nearly finnished on a mpfi conversion on my siera, now i did it the hard way and didnt get a complete engine but it was cheep. so had a efi dizzy sourced for me, the auto sparkies had to grind down the center bolt to make it fit the engine and now the engine retartds itself for a moment before ...

hell i aint got a a engine in yet. sitting on the ground beside the car.

standard class is that. no more than 2 inches of lift what ever factory traction aids it came with and i think it was no bigger than 31 inch tyre or maybe it was 33 cant remember.

usualy 4 stages on the day with several diferent types of terain.

have a look at the web site mate, just google scenic rim adventure park, will give u a better idea of what each class incompases.

you would be in standard class, like they said all tracks are optional, if u dont like the look of it u dont have to drive it. but its fun to try.

found a 8 valve efi vitara motor with single point injection for sale.
are these comon or only found in import vitara's.

are they a good motor or should i keep looking for a 16v multi point injected 1.6?

well drove it home from the factory last night and didnt get nasty steering woble but it does need a wheel alignment, as its so far out the camber is adjusting its self as i drive, (wheels lean in wheels lean out) feels like a buckled wheel.

will report back after wheel alignment

just fitted WT diffs to my NT lwb siera, with high steer set up.

took if for a little drive this arvo and the steering is finger light,(this is running 33's). tyres were at about 30psi.

is this normal when a spring over is done?

well i tracked some down out of a 96 1.6 manual. gear count 37/8.
=4.6

got some 3.7's for u dave if u wanna go faster.

yeh dave i'll be hanging on to the 1.3 for a while yet, with all the other stuff going on cant afford the v8 conversion. and i wont be replacing warped springs cos it will have a wrap bar.
