I am assuming the mounting points for a KM145 and v6 5spd are way different? If you fab up new mounts for a KM145 in a V6 LWB, and bolt the transfer case back on, can you use the same drive shafts? Are both clutches, cable or hydraulic? Just trying to answer all these Q's, so that when the time ...

Engine mount and 5spd differences V6 to 4cyl (Diesel swap)

So I am considering swapping a 4d55 or 4d56 into a LWB Montero. I do not currently own any of these vehicles or parts. I know the TD will sit on the 2.6L gas motor mounts, and will bolt right up to the 5spd. Should be pretty easy swap. Problem is that there are not a lot of LWB 4cyl 5spd Montero's ...
