G'day all. I have a GQ Patrol 4.2D, 2 inch lift, 33's etc. Just got a snorkel on it yesterday(very excited), and was going to get the diff breathers extended. The front tyres are actually rubbing in the mud flap metal mounting at full lock, just lifting the flap up with a chain wont help im thinking. Spacers sound the go, othwise ill just have to do some mods on the mount. Cheers for the help, Captain. And yes bigger tyres down the track..... hmmmmmmmm.

33"s Rubbing on Mud flap?

Just fitted 2" lift and 33"s. At full lock the fron tyres are rubbing on the front Mud flap. What's the easiest solution for this. Thinking of making the mud flap thinner? Im sure that this has happened b4. Are there any other points that the tyres will rub that anyone can tell me? Thanks, Captain.

I just brought a 94 RX 4.2D. 160km It sounds like a tractor at idle, but smooth as when under load!!

Sounds tuff, had the whole thing checked out and that just how they are. Have looked at lots of diesel's in the last few months and the Nissans are a tad more rattly, but tough!!
