If it flexes well you will get a lot of rear steer which will drive the pinion into the tank.

I had this happen to my truck, fixed it with a long arm kit and moded the tank as well.
Hope this helps

So you mean to say you don't have any proof of said foam cell melting / breaks down. What a surprise....

So people please don't be put off buying foam cell shocks because some ill informed guys prefer to try to make there products look better by lying about other brands / types.

Just a note on foam cell, if you do touring, instead of weekend warrior stuff, if you get a foam cell hot, the foam breaks down, the shock gets foam in the valve, and it stops working, goes stiff as, and wont recover like a gas/oil shock.

Just an FYI.

Any pics yet? 0X

Just a note to all. We in the north sell 1200 foam cell units a year, yes some are used almost exclusively as touring wagons but many travel vast distances on some of the worst roads this country has to offer. Although we do see a minimal number of failures with the foam cell we have NEVER, repeat ...

A good reason to go with the long arm kits is the longer lower arms reduce the amount of rear steer. which causes the tire to roll forward under the truck when flexed.

This is with out the long arms, see how far forward the diff is...

If you have std front bump stops in your truck you can work it out by measuring the distance between bump stop and the diff. then subtract 65mm the answer is the lift in the truck (original bump stop clearance is 60-65mm)

hope this helps.

What problems will there be if I fit the drop boxes and ...
