ive got a GU ute leaf sprung rear, ive currently got a 4 inch pro comp kit which is useless. we could only put 2 inch leafs with 240 mm shackles which has worked but has no slop. How illegal is it to change, swap the leaf spring from under neath the diff to above diff, gaining 6 to 8 inchs, and has anyone got photos of this done?

(for a GU) don't know if its tybolic or hybolic leafs, but there only two leafs and very soft, has any one had any experence with these are they good or crap and who suplies them in Brisbane.

Are you running standard cooling system? if you have a thermo on there without a shroud that could be a problem because instead of drawing air through the entire radiator it only draws it through the area of the fan. If you aren't already using standard set up use that because they didn't overheat ...

Has anyone had the same problem (TD42)
I have a GU td42 6cyl troll and every time its under load beach bush etc (high and low range) it over heats repeatably. Every thing under the bonnet is sweat so i don't know whats going on... if anyone has the same 4b and has had the same problem what has been done to resolve it?

I am wanting to build a steel tray for mu GU. I will be useing 75 x 50 mm RHS for the sides and 50 x 30mm RHS for the inside support, 20mm difference to allow for a lip around outside of the tray. Would this size steel be enough support, i wont be carrying much? I am thinking of checker plating it ...
