U need to remove about 3mm from the face of the clutch centre where it slides over the input shaft, it stops the bellhousing from mating up against the block properly, either that or remove it from the housing that the input shaft comes out of(the end of the tube bit) i chose 2 take it from the clut...

First off, a nice aerodinamic clubsport against ur Patrol which has the aerodinamics of a brick! no matter wat engine u got it aint ever gonna keep with a clubsport and secondly there is no way on this earth u are gettin 550 rwhp from a 3.5 rover, group "A" racing back in the 80's only just...

I made brkts myself as im a firm believer in not buying something if something can be made or adapted to fit. It only took about 2 hrs 2 mount everything woth the engine sat on the garage floor. I used block huggers as they were only $199 new off ebay, i have an MQ wiv a 350 in it and that has a ram...

It goes so much better than the old 6, was a fairly easy conversion too, tighter fit than the 350 in my MQ but its 5 inchs narrower inbetween the chassis rails. I put a 351 cleveland in aN MK and that was tight so a clevo in a GQ wud be real tight. Need to get the rev counter converted now 2 read ri...

Why is that then? If u get 2mm cable i cant c a problem, i've been using a 2mm bike cable on my other car which has a V8 for 5 yrs with no drama's!
The thicker 2mm don't seem 2 fray at all which i guess normal size would.
Am i missing something?

Bellhousing, block huggers, cable from a push bike 2 make throttle cable, extend wires etc. You will have 2 cut off old engine mounts and weld on new ones as well as make brkts for a/c pump and power steering etc.
