If you use the right type of bar (size) for the joints you are using then there is no welding anyway. The ones I'm building will just be threaded and then use a lock nut.

Also the turbo drain should be above the oil level. So I'd say they have put it to low in the sump as well.

Hey mate, The overdrive issue could be related to this new issue but I'm not sure if it has anything to do with your ECU. The GQ I just just did up and sold had lots of auto problems. DON'T drive it anymore. The filter is getting blocked up and means no oil gets to the gearset so it will melt causing complete trans failure and complete rebuild. I'm thinking seriously about going to t400 and increasing hp to around 350rwkw. Powers available so I figure now is the time to change the trans as that is my restriction.

Simple equation. The best 24v motor is the 7.8hp 24v Superduty. The best 12v motor is the 6hp Warn motor. The 7.8hp 12v Superduty motors are good but the Warn motor is better. With that much hp offroad you just don't need the gears. My old truck which had 375rwhp 4.1 diff and Patrol manualised auto (sort of!), would change and it made no difference to acceleration. That's sweet. It is funny how with suspension the more you learn, the more you realise you have more to learn! And everything is a compromise! But i will argue that an 'A' frame can't work. Use a short section of bent pipe instead of the eye bolt. ie about 100mm long. That way you have a curved surface to spread the load and not kink the rope but is still very compact.

I just wanted to know whats the best flexing set up. And where to find the link calculator? It's very important to know the reason why you want flex.
