Yes.

But you really only need the bracket that go's on the chassis.

Go to a wrecker and grab a Defender drag link to drop arm bracket and use that instead of the Maxi Drive "clamp' around the drag link.

Should work out cheaper.

I like the modification of the steering guard to hold the steering dampner. What is the brass coloured bracket bolted to the chassis for?

Hi the brass coloured bracket is a maxi-drive bracket to relocate the damper, but i couldn't get it to line up. Bloody custom cars!!

You will need to cut a plate about 20 cm x 5cm to cover a hole in the firewall above the passengers knees. I used alum plate and sikaflexed it to the engine bay side of the firewall. The lower dash remains but you need a dash tray, grey louvered panel and the metal piece which the vent controls ...

110 A/C remove replace with vents??

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone can offer some advice on the removal of the air con system from a 1985 110 and replacing the vents in the firewall.

I have made start on it but am a little concerned that the whole bottom section of the dash (that houses the air con ducting etc) is one piece and ...

Yes. Was advertised at 3800. Did you look at it?

Nice and clean inside and outside. Has been converted to 5 speed (LT77)unfortunately and is running straight gas. Otherwise is nice and tidy. The dash aint even cracked. Door trims intact. No rust anywhere I could see. I may still need that LT95 Matt ...

You can use "diff lock" (centre differential) either in high or low range. This will give you maximum traction. It locks the front and rear axle together (but not the diff centres on each axle.

Lock the centre diff when ever you think traction may be lost. Most people lock the centre diff as sooon ...

To select low range try rolling (slowly!) forward whilst pushing firmly forward on the transfer case lever. Not side ways. Pushing to the left will engage the centre diff lock in high range.

Push forward (there will no doubt be a bit of a crunch) and then push left to engage centre diff lock in low ...

If you choose ARB get some maxi inner axles. Otherwise you'll be fine.

Early RR CV's are stronger than later ones. The stub axle will be your "fuse" as in easy to get to and replace if it breaks in the field.

The 6.5 is a fine motor, probably a bit of an overkill for what I use it for though.

I do have some cooling issues with it, but they are mainly due to the small engine bay in the Defender. I need to have a better radiator made up to fit the existing space. I was told an aluminium rad from a v8 ...
