you should be able to still put in 4x4 ! would of been a pain in the but in 2wd.

once the hub case is off an spring is already out you can use your fingers to engage it in or out for temp fix.

cheers.

well theres only one spring not two in mine. and its snapped dead in the middle. was always hard to turn but i put to much pressure on it and i think thats what caused the snap, plus it was coverd in rust.

Hey,

Have a SWB Vitara. The spring inside the manual locking hub has snapped. is there a company that can make new springs?

local wrecker wanted $100 for a whole hub that was older than mine. wouldnt sell spring seperate.

i have a 94 suzuki vitara swb carby. daily road driving is fine. but when i go 4 x 4 my car over heats quite fast with just a few short bursts of acceleration. i took out the thermestat and tried it running with coolant full time. which helped a bit. but its winter and my car wont warm up for daily ...

hey does anybody know where to get some seat covers that will fit a suzuki vitara front and rear seats perfectly?

ive tried other seat covers from auto stores but they dont fit properely.

u paid $65 for the 8T 12m Just Strap at ARB ? online there about $72

il check out my local ARB. victoria is a bit of treck from perth :(

its getting all to to technical now. i mean its just a long strip of material :P haha but it seems that it would be fair to say that majority of 4x4 users would recomend the Just Strap brand. and also the ARB at a higher price and more "hardcore" 4x4? 200 tone? id pay to watch one of those mining ...

oh ok i just went into my local super cheap auto shop. didnt say a spray can version. probadly missed it. is that like the ethonal trick ? just spraying ethonal gives a idle change in revs? il have another look for that crc carby spray then. cheers good to have some suzy help with a w.a person lol ...

do u know if the preout is stereo? (one white and one red)

or is there a single hole ( sub woofer - preout)?

either case you can still conect your amplifer up. with rca to your amplifer

so your in business.

are those 6x 9 in eclosed mdf boxes? coz that would get good bass response

hey yeah 499 was for hole allarm i used to have it in my magna and i wrote it off. but when i ripped the stereo out before the wrecked it i cut the sensors off it.

yeah u need to find out if u have a sub preout at the back of ur head unit.
or look up ur model head unit on the sony site or google it. should be able to tell you.

awesome somebody else with the same problem!!! mine is leaking also. and i have asked many places and said the same thing that suzki dont make the seal parts anymore. and that i will have to replace the hole box. the wreckers said i could get one for $200+ but then the real joke was from a suzuki ...

dude 80 amps will be fine with just any decnent battery aslong as you keep your engine running.

i was running 2000rms off my battery. (over 200 amps)

depends what size cable your using too. you might not even be using that much power from your amps because the cable is insufficent.

know of it. never had it personally but theres a reason for choice based on busget and what sound you want to listen to. thus just coz somebody likes one brand doesnt mean you will too.

when you say loosen off the break cable underneath - where abouts underneath is it?

having a few problems locating where you loosen / tighten.

i can see the screw for it in the wheels. and i know where the notches are inside the car at the hand break.
