Check your valve clearences before you put it on gas then every 100,000km

Get the injector type LPG system fitted, The one with a injector for each cylinder

Just drop the cross member
unplug the connector
then pull the front extension housing off
No point pulling the whole transfer out

It is telling you there is a problem with the dual tank system when you are running on gas. Which will always occur unless you can trick the system to think it is working correctly on the now missing main tank.

They are not designed to run on gas, so why mess with it?

Auto aire is one company, but i live in the west so dont know any over on the eastern coast
Speak to a auto electrican and they should be able to give some company names

They are easy to fit , easier then genuine, but a little fidderly

Autos are good, but remember your towing capacity is 2500kg
Some of the earlier non gen bars caused this, but the main brand ones have been modified so this wont happen
The 07 prado come out with the 1kd-te engine common rail 3000cc engine service interval every 10000kms

Mate had one on his personal carrier, I pulled it off a little while back as he was chasing fuel ecomony You dont get that surge of power that you get with turbos, but great for hill climbs and when the revs are low his fuel consumption did not improve that much mind you it is all set up for camping ...

they remove the rear tank and bloke off heaps of hoses, I have seen some that have bolts that go through the floor where the third row seats clip down, thus the seats would not clip in properly.
Buy a diesel, alot less hassles

To clear the codes pull the efi fuse out for 5 sec with the ign off. Make sure you have pulled your jumper wire out whilst you do this

the plug on the alternator gets loose connectors, you can get replacement connectors and solder onto your exsisting wires.
much cheaper to try first then replacing your alternator

The two codes you had in your car sounds like someone had the air flow meter disconnected with the ignition on, if the engine light is not constantly its not a concern now. Clear you codes and then recheck air flow meters if they have two screws , you can clean them , but replacing them is the best ...

Make sure you have 75/90 gear oil in the gearbox
80/90 gear oil will give you hard shift especially when cold :cool:

Grande level have Traction control
when you turn the key to ign on the VSC/trac light will come on with all the warning lights
Also it wont have a LSD oil sticker on the rear dif

you can get twin gas tanks for these that go under the sides, so you dont loose your sub tank or take that out aswell and have 3 gas tanks. :lol:
