When fitted, the float arm should have been cut and extended as mentioned above - just got one in mine, slill yet to run it empty and see the guage move though. Should stay full for a few 100km then read true all the way to empty... in an ideal world anyway.

I wonder how much difference a new loom will make in mine? As far as I know still got the factory loom but running IPF headlight glass/mirros with some funky 130/155W (apparent power) globes all from ARB. Made a hell of a difference. The spotties are on a separate relay each as they were pulling ...

heh yeah saw that bs about $1.40 p/l and with a 147 odd L tank (possibly upto 217L) feeding that thirsty 4.2 petrol of mine, anything short of not starting it to make it less thirsty - I'm all ears. What do the fuel inj Patrols normally get out of 90L? 500km?
On my old 90L tank I never saw it get ...

So for the 89 GQ 4.2 petrol (carby) is it worth spending on extractors? I have had mixed results from other cars in the past with before and after comparisons. It seems the general consensus is more show - not so much go. Or does it make more diff when comparing to diesel motor?

LOL nice work Sully :p Who was drillin? That aside, how long did it take to fit the locker? (I am looking to do the same and already have the air comp mounted)

Won't it be in oil anyhow as the insides of the diff rotate and throw oil around inside the case?
