Hi all,
I'm having a problem in that my 1997 NL Pajero is jumping out of low range 4WD. I have an Auto transmission and occasionally when climbing steep, rocky terrain the 4WD selector lever will jump back to the "neutral" position between 4Llc and 4Hlc... I know the Auto transfer case doesn't ...

Checked the actuator and it works OK, although it did seem a bit stiff initially when I tried to manually move it. Engage switch is Ok too.
One thing I did find which backs up Noisey's post is that the voltage to the solenoids (2WD = 12V) wasn't always present when 2WD was selected. Just seems to ...
