My 99 3.2 uses about a litre every 5k, no smoke and goes well even though it has done 230k. Using BP visco 5000 which may be a bit thin but I have tried other brands and it still uses the same amount. A motor that uses a little bit of oil is OK as some Isuzu's can use more than this brand new from ...

I usually get around 400km to 60 - 65 litres mixture of town and freeway driving with about 1/2 a ton of crap on the back
