not always, it also depends on gearing.

j-top, if your charge light doesn't come on then that's your problem. The globe is a 2watt or 3watt globe that provides a small initial current to generate a magnetic field for the windings. thanks Scott, its certainly the internal regulator type alternator as when i first had to replace one the gave me the " is it internal/external regulator... oh internal, thats expensive, that will be $1200 thanks :shock: " ive found that the higher the revs the more current draw and the battery dies ...

They are not a tyre you would run on the road except to get to tracks and back home if you had to. I (kinda) disagree. got them for weekend tires on the GU. they get the wobble at about 70k but at highway speed they are fine and actually seem to get better the faster i go ( up to 170 or so )

not balanced and on standard rims/no beadlocks

getting it to engage: roll the car forward or backward a little bit and it should engage.

turning itself off: dunno, is it just the light going out or can you feel it disengage?
